Since 1961, Franciscan Mission Associates (FMA) has brought the ministry of St. Francis to people’s daily lives through a two-fold undertaking of providing spiritual and financial support.
We fundraise for the missions, ministries, and friars of the Immaculate Conception (IC) Province of the Franciscan Friars. And, we provide devotional service to our benefactors and supporters.

Prayer of the month
Prayer to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Lord God,
You blessed Elizabeth Seton with gifts of grace as wife and mother, educator and foundress, so that she might spend her life in service to your people.
Through her example and prayers may we learn to express our love for you in love for our fellow men and women.
Amen.
Saint of the month

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Feast Day – January 4
Though she was not a Franciscan, we celebrate St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as the first American-born saint. Born Elizabeth Ann Bailey on August 28, 1774 in New York City, she was raised as an Episcopalian. Later in life, after being widowed and despite fierce opposition from family and friends, she converted to Catholicism. She ultimately founded a religious order of sisters and began what would become the parochial school system in America.
