Coming just after the Feast of the Holy Family, this Novena of Masses inspires us to ask for the Holy Family’s intercession to increase our virtues of humility, obedience, and compassion.
How to pray to the Holy Family
As our Franciscan Friars remember you and your loved ones in these Masses, we invite you to reflect on how we can model our own families after the example of the Holy Family:
- Mothers are invited to reflect on how they can increase their humility and love inspired by Our Lady’s heart.
- Fathers are invited to reflect on what St. Joseph can inspire in us regarding self-sacrifice and courage.
- We are all asked to reflect upon how we can honor our earthly parents and grandparents as Jesus honored Mary and Joseph.
