Perpetual Enrollments

You and members of your family, both living and deceased, can be permanently associated with the Franciscan friars by perpetual enrollments in both the Franciscan Missionary Union and in the Franciscan Benefactors’ Association.

Such perpetual membership enrollments are now widely used as spiritual gifts. They offer appropriate evidence of your sympathy in time of joy or sorrow. The enrollments are available for a relative or friend who has died, for the living, the sick, in commemoration of a feast day; birthday, anniversary or other similar special occasion.

The enrollments confer special spiritual benefits of close association with the Franciscan friars and their apostolic work. Both during life and after death they are in assurance of special remembrance daily in the Masses, prayers, and good works of the Franciscan fraternity.

The four-color, illustrated certificates, trimmed in gold, detachable for permanent framing, measure ten by eight inches, and provide space for inscribing the names of the perpetual member and the person requesting the enrollment.

The certificates are protected and enclosed in a 22-inch sturdy, tasteful two-color frame permitting display as well as permanent preservation. The spiritual benefits are summarized inside the folder.
