As our Franciscan Friars remember you and your loved ones in these Novenas, we invite you to be comforted by the healing that Our Lady of Lourdes offers while reflecting on the strength we can take from her example:
- Presence – Our Lady of Lourdes appeared 18 times to Bernadette, first with nothing more than a quiet, loving presence. She built trust with a simple-hearted young girl simply by being present.
- Healing – Through the miraculous fresh spring water she brought forth at Lourdes, Our Lady reminds us that healing power is everywhere in the world.
- Sacrifice – In our world, suffering is necessary and not every person who seeks healing receives it. Through sacrifice, we offer our suffering in union with Jesus Christ.
